Sinnoh Forme Vikavolt

With all the hype around the new Alola-Forme Pokemon, I figured I'd try something the other way around--what if Pokemon native to Alola were brought to other regions and adapted in the same way? So here's my Sinnoan Vikavolt!

Type: Bug/Steel
Abilities: Volt Absorb, Motor Drive (Hidden)

Description:

When Charjabug being used as portable natural batteries were brought to the Sinnoh region, they naturally homed in on the electrical currents present in Mt. Coronet's magnetic insides. Over time, the resulting generations of Vikavolt adapted to Sinnoh's harsher climate, growing metal armor on their exoskeletons to resist the cold.

These heavy coatings, while enhancing their defenses, also severely restrict the Sinnoan Vikavolt's aerial agility, forcing them to spend most of their time crawling on the walls of Mt. Coronet. They still love to feed on the currents running through these walls, however, and when sufficiently charged these Vikavolt can fly much faster for short periods. 

It is theorized that Grubbin raised in Unova's Chargestone Cave may also achieve this form rather than the Alolan Vikavolt's, due to the similarly heavy levels of electromagnetism, but some Professors argue that the Sinnoan Vikavolt's adaptation is due more to the climate of the Sinnoh region, rather than the presence of stronger electric currents. This theory is still being researched.
